A: Because subs see all jobs (unless rejected), they may choose the jobs they want. Some are booked up to the end of the year.
Subs also set their own availability and may get a summary and an individual calendar of assignments at any time. Subs love the system because they can get information 24/7 without having to contact the sub office or sit by their phone. The only complaint we have had is that if a sub waits too long to take a job, another sub may get it first.
We also allow subs to review and take jobs anywhere at any time, on "smart" cell phones. Subs do not have to be in front of a computer.
